ANTH-3160 (3) Peoples of the South Pacific

Surveys traditional island cultures and contemporary changes in the Pacific, focusing on how the Pacific Islands were first settled, some of the great anthropologists who studied the islanders, and how current environmental changes, such as global warming, threaten the future existence of the islands. Restricted to juniors/seniors. Prerequisites: Restricted to students with 57-180 credits (Junior or Senior).
