Mr. Weil is currently the Operating Director at Towerbrook Capital Partners, L.P. Prior to joining Towerbrook Capital Partners Weil was a strategic consultant to The Blackstone Group within the Tactical Opportunities Fund and the GSO Special Situations Fund. Before Blackstone, he was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley where he ran the US Asset Backed trading business and co-ran the US Asset Backed Complex, responsible for providing secondary trading liquidity for the firm’s global client base. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2009, he spent the three years at Lehman Brothers, also in the Mortgage Division. Walter received a Bachelor of Science from the Leeds School of Business, receiving a Finance major and Economics minor. Walter is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife and children.
