Nathalie Moyen is an associate professor of finance at the Leeds School of Business and an affiliated faculty at the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Professor Moyen was the Judith C. and William G. Bollinger Visiting Associate Professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2007-2008 and a Visiting Scholar at INSEAD in 2013. She earned her Ph.D. in finance from the University of British Columbia.
Professor Moyen investigates the financial decisions that corporations make and how these financial decisions can influence economic decisions such capital investments and hiring. Her research has been published in several journals, including the Journal of Finance where one of her manuscripts was nominated for the Brattle Prize.
Professor Moyen teaches in the undergraduate, MBA, and PhD programs. She teaches classes on corporate finance and derivative securities. Since fall 2015, she is the Leeds PhD program chair.
