Jessica McGregor was born and raised in Fort Collins and has lived most of her life in Colorado. Growing up in a family of Buffs, she has felt a strong affiliation to the university for as long as she can remember and feels incredibly fortunate to build her career here. Raised by teachers, she always knew a career in education was in her future. She held roles in secondary education as a high school social studies teacher and college counselor, prior to shifting back to higher education with roles in academic advising and teaching, scholarship administration, and undergraduate admissions.
Jessica is a very proud CU alumna. She earned her B.A. in history and secondary education from CU Boulder, followed by a graduate certificate in college counseling from UCLA and a M.Ed.in higher education administration from Harvard University.
