Jaebong Son is a Ph.D. candidate in the management division of the Leeds School of Business. Specifically, he focuses on business data analytics based upon database design & implementation, business intelligence (BI) and analytics (BA), and computational linguistics. Before joining to Leeds, he conducted several interesting projects at IBM Global Business Services (GBS) that require analytic skills ranging from statistics, natural language processing to machine learning. His current research interests include communication practices on Twitter and the roles of social capitals (i.e., tie types) on innovation throughout patent analytics.
