Elsa Chan is a Ph.D. candidate in organizational behavior and entrepreneurship at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. Her research examines virtuous behaviors and emotions including humility and compassion in leadership and entrepreneurship. She also studies race and gender biases in organizations. She holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational Psychology from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hong Kong. Prior to pursuing a Ph.D., she worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Management at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
