Amanda Hansen is the Director of the Career Development Office at the Leeds School of Business. She previously spent 8 years leading the employer relations team and her most recent role was as the Associate Director of Employer Engagement and Partnerships.

 

As the Director of the Career team, she provides strategic leadership to the career coaching, mentoring, experiential, and employer relations divisions. Amanda is also proud to serve as the co-advisor to the Women in Business Club.

 

During her time at Leeds, she has been the FGX staff leader for both the France (2015) and the Sweden (2022) classes. Amanda will be teaching the FGX Amsterdam course during the spring of 2023. Prior to joining CU in 2013, Amanda spent her career in business development and relationship management. She is a Nebraska native, who received her B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, Advertising, and Public Relations from Midland University. She is currently earning a graduate Leadership and Management certificate through CU Boulder and has previously completed a certificate in Inclusive Leadership through the Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility (CESR) at Leeds. She spent two years on the Leeds Staff Council and is an active member of the diversity and inclusion reading and action group at Leeds.
