The CU Business Intensive Certificate (CUBIC)

Today, graduates face an increasingly competitive job market. The CU Business Intensive Certificate (CUBIC) program is designed for non-business students to supplement their respective degrees with a strong business background to enhance their marketability in the job force.

This three-week, non-credit certificate program offered every year during Maymester teaches fundamental business skills, the importance of group work and career development skills to non-business majors, for more than 14 years! Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be awarded a Certificate in Applied Business and will have earned a competitive edge when entering the job market.

In addition, students will have access to local professional HR representatives to help with resume critiques and mock interviews. CUBIC also uses case study integration to help students apply the curriculum to actual corporations. Finally, students will also take part in developing an innovative business plan for a new product or service. On the last day of CUBIC, teams will present their projects to fellow classmates and a panel of local entrepreneurial business experts. Projects will be judged and prizes awarded to the most feasible and well-constructed project. CUBIC faculty will mentor students to ensure the successful completion of their team projects.

Tuition: $3,800
Tuition includes all curriculum, materials, lunch and coffee on all class days, along with access to HR professional and CUBIC alumni.
