In November of 2015, CESR Executive Director Dr. Mark Meaney was elected Chairperson of the NA Chapter, now directing the cooperation of over 150 business schools in the US and Canada to develop higher education best practices in business ethics education. Another cornerstone of PRME is interaction with the local community and business engaged with the UN Global Compact.

The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder, announced that Dr. Mark Meaney, Executive Director of the Center for Education on Social Responsibility (CESR), was elected as Chair of the newly established North America Chapter of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (UN PRME) initiative.
