Corporate Social Responsibility

CESR promotes the discussion of values and the role of business in society throughout the curriculum. Our courses challenge students to decide what type of business leaders they will seek to be and the nature of the businesses they will run.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become more mainstream in business as forward-thinking companies embrace social responsibility as a core value of their business operations in order to create shared value for business and society.

CSR isn't just important for people and the planet, but it’s also vital for business success. And consumers aren't the only ones drawn to businesses that give back; a company's CSR strategy is a big factor in where today's top talent chooses to work. The next generation of employees is seeking out employers that are focused on the triple bottom line: people, planet and revenue

Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility

CESR recently launched a professional Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility (CCSR) in partnership with B:CIVIC. This certificate is for people seeking to further themselves and their companies in the practice of socially responsible business. Whether you are an experienced CSR professional, just starting out on your CSR career, or wanting to make a career change in this direction, this cerificate program provides an opportunity to further your knowledge, ideas and network. Learn more about the Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility.
