Matt Cannella Receives NSF Fellowship

The BAC Lab is proud to announce that Matt Cannella has recieved a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF). The NSF Fellowship is a three year stipend ($30,000 per year) and a $12,000 cost-of-education allowance to the the institution. 

Matt won the award for his proposed research in hybrid rocket technology. His previous research in rocket technology at NASA Marshall Flight Center and with the University of Buffalo rocketry club gives him a unique perspective on areas requiring more research to make rocket propulsion more efficient, environmentally friendly, and take us to new heights. Matt was previously a NASA Graduate Student Researcher Program (GSRP) award recipient.
