Short Term Loans
Apply for a short-term loan at the Office of Financial Aid and pick up your check at the Office of Cash Management in Regent Hall. Eligibility requirements for short-term loans are as follow:
- You must be enrolled at least half-time as a degree-seeking, CU-Boulder student (excluding ACCESS and Continuing Education students).
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must provide an acceptable photo ID (Student ID, driver's license, passport) to apply and to pick up funds.
- You must have either incoming aid to cover your University bill and the short-term loan, OR
- You must have a comaker who is a CU-Boulder student (enrolled at least half-time on the Boulder campus), faculty, or staff member at least 18 years old. The comaker cannot have outstanding financial obligations to all CU campuses in his/her own name or as a comaker.
- You cannot be a maker or comaker on any other short-term loans.
- Maximum loan amount is $1,000.
