Step One

REQUIRED - Sign-up for Direct Deposit

What it is:

Direct deposit is the method the university uses to refund money back to the student when there is a credit balance on the account. Refunds can result from housing deposit, dropping a class, financial aid, etc. It is mandatory to sign up for direct deposit. For more information see our refund policy and refund FAQ's.

Deadline: As soon as possible to receive refunds

How to do it:

  1. Get a bank account if you don’t already have one.
  2. Get your bank routing number and savings/checking account number.  This information is on the bottom of your checks or you can get it directly from your bank.  These numbers are not on your debit card.
  3. On CUConnect, go to the financial tab, select Boulder Main Campus then “Direct Deposit for Refunds.”
  4. I don't see Boulder Main Campus.

Note:  Direct deposit authorization only allows funds to be deposited into your account.  Funds are not withdrawn from your account to pay your bill as a result of this authorization.
