Step 4

Choose Health Insurance Plan

What it is:

The University of Colorado has a policy of mandatory health insurance coverage for all CU students. Because of this policy, students are automatically enrolled in the Student Gold Health Insurance Plan each year in the fall. Your tuition bill will be charged $1,052.50 (subject to change) per semester unless you waive university coverage or select the Wardenburg Campus Care Plan ($165). For more information and a description of the plans, go to http://www.colorado.edu/studenthealthplans/index.html.

Deadline: September 2 for those enrolled in the fall, Janurary 20 for those who are only enrolling in the spring.

How to do it:
  1. On CUConnect, go to the financial tab, select Student Health Plans.
  2. Click on "Select or waive health plan for fall 2009/spring 2010".

The University of Colorado at Boulder is an equal opportunity/nondiscrimination institution.
