STUDENTS

  1. If you are a student, you log in to CUConnect to get to CUBill&Pay.

    • Go to CUConnect
    • Log in with your student Identikey and password
    • Click on the financial tab
    • Under Bursar Billing, select Boulder Main Campus
    • Click Make Payment link and it will take you directly into CUBill&Pay

Once you're in CUBill&Pay, your options are on the left.

  2. Make Payment - make a payment from your checking or savings account (no credit cards accepted).

  3. View Accounts - view your statement issued monthly as well as prior billing history. You will receive notification via e-mail when your monthly statement is available for your review. Please check your statement at least once a month to ensure all charges are paid on time. You can download and e-mail or print an official copy of the bill if you need a paper copy of the bill.

  4. Authorize Payers - give other individuals (like a parent or spouse, or anyone you choose - up to five people total) access to view and pay the bill on your behalf. YOU are still ultimately responsible for paying the bill on time.

  5. Remember to give your Authorized Payer their case sensitive login name and temporary password.

  6. Payment Profile - safely and securely store your bank account information so you won't have to re-enter your checking or savings account number each time you make a payment. Your stored information is kept private. Or, you can choose not to store your bank account information and skip this step.

  7. Transaction History - view all electronic payments made using the CUBill&Pay system. Payments made in person or sent through the mail will not appear in Transactions History on CUBill&Pay (but all payments will appear on the monthly statement on CUBill&Pay).

  8. User Preferences - cannot be changed; displays your university e-mail address. You will receive an e-mail when a payment is made on your account using CUBill&Pay (only).

If you are a person other than the student, like a parent, grandparent, spouse, or anyone who pays the bill, you need to be authorized as a payer before you can follow this set of instructions.

  1. Note that CUBill&Pay is not CUConnect. You are using your own login and password to log in to CUBill&Pay.

  2. If you are already an authorized payer, log in here. This takes you to the authorized payer login page.

    • Enter the login name exactly as your student created it for you. It is case sensitive and it is NOT your student's Identikey.
    • Change Password to reset the temporary password your student assigned to you.
    • Login name and password are CASE SENSITIVE.

  3. Make Payment - make a payment from your checking or savings account (no credit cards accepted).

  4. View Accounts - view your statement issued monthly as well as prior billing history. You and your CU student will receive notification via e-mail when monthly statements are available for review. Please check your statement at least once a month to ensure all charges are paid on time. You can download and e-mail or print an official copy of the bill if you need a paper copy of the bill.

  5. Payment Profile - safely and securely store your bank account information so you won't have to re-enter your checking or savings account number each time you make a payment.
