Public Forum on the Future of Asian Studies

Friday, April 26 @ 4 p.m., Humanities 250 A roundtable discussion addressing the future of Asian area studies from a variety of perspectives (K-12 education, publishing, higher education, etc.). Panelists: Frank Conlon, professor emeritus of history, South Asian Studies and Comparative Religion at the University of Washington; Susan McEachern, editorial director of Rowman & Littlefield; and Lynn Parisi, director of the Program for Teaching East Asia. Moderator: Tim Oakes, director of the Center for Asian Studies.
