Sinners, Saints and Gamers: Religion and Video Games

This interactive presentation brings together two scholars of religion and media to talk about the history of religion and gaming, games as religious practice, and how today's game technologies might intersect with new understandings of religion and spirituality. Speaker James Anthony is senior editor at Time Inc. and a game designer who works at the intersection of games and ritual. Rachel Wagner is an associate professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religion at Ithaca.
