15 CU staff members receive electric bikes

CU Boulder employees attend a bike orientation

Community Cycles received one of five grants that allowed the organization to award electric bikes to front-line employees at CU Boulder.

Bike recipients paid $250 to get into the program and received an eBike (valued at over $1500) and all the accessories needed to keep themselves safe and their bikes secure. The CU Bike Program also helped these employees register their bikes with CU through Bike Index, get access to secure on-campus bike shelters and provide “best route” advice depending on where they live and work.

Participate in a research study on political discussion

We are a conducting research study on political discussion, and the purpose is to understand how individuals think about and talk about candidates during a political campaign. The study is titled, “Conversation During Political Campaigns” and it has been approved by CU’s Institutional Review Board.

The session will take approximately one hour and we are offering a $20 Amazon gift card as compensation for participation. We will not be recording the sessions, but you will be interacting with other participants.
