Join the Dean of Students Leadership and Values Council

The Dean of Students Leadership and Values Council exists to engage students in a meaningful way and provide the appropriate support, resources, and opportunities for its diverse student body to thrive. In addition to sharing ideas, counsel, and feedback regarding issues that affect the student body, members will also engage in leadership development and mentorship opportunities.

All current undergraduate students may apply, and applications are due Sept. 3.

Get a free COVID-19 vaccine on campus now through Sept. 17

Medical Services is providing free COVID-19 vaccines to CU Boulder students, staff and faculty.  Drop-in vaccine clinics and appointments are available at Wardenburg Health Center:

  • Aug. 30–Sept. 17
  • Monday–Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1–4 p.m.

Appointments can be scheduled through the MyCuHealth portal. Medical Services is currently administering the Pfizer vaccine.

Note: In collaboration with Boulder County Health and in order to best support vaccination needs in the community, the mobile vaccination bus will not be available on the CU Boulder campus after Aug. 31. Additional vaccination clinic options can be found at Boulder County's "COVID-19 Vaccines" webpage and Colorado’s “Find out where you can get vaccinated” webpage. Locations with mobile vaccination busses offer the J&J (Janssen) vaccine.

Students: Fulfill your COVID-19 vaccination requirement for chance to win prizes

For fall 2021, all undergraduate and graduate students need to complete the COVID-19 vaccine requirements by Sept. 15, 2021. Submission instructions are available for students.

Students who complete the vaccination requirements by the deadline will be entered into a drawing with a chance to win:

  • $500 credit to the CU Book Store
  • Apple products (Pencils, AirPods)

The drawing will take place on Sept. 15. If you win, you’ll be notified directly by the Pandemic Response Office the week following the drawing.

Join our system-wide gamification reading group

Participate in an effort and movement learning study

The Neuromechanics Lab is looking for volunteers for a study on learning and effort in a reaching task. We are interested in how the effort involved in a movement impacts how you learn in a new environment. The task involves using a robotic handle to guide a cursor to a series of targets.

You must:

  • Be English-speaking
  • Be 18–35 years old
  • Have normal or corrected vision
  • Have no movement control problems
  • Have had no recent orthopedic surgeries or broken bones

The study will involve 1.5 hours of testing in our campus laboratory (1B21 ECSL, 1111 Engineering Drive, Boulder, CO 80309). Subjects will be compensated with a $15 Amazon gift card.
