The University of Colorado is increasing its investment in quality health care across the system, and faculty and staff will see only modest increases on most monthly CU Health Plan premiums. These increases will begin with the 2022-23 plan year on July 1.
While absolute premium costs will increase across the board, the university will continue to minimize the effect by paying the dominant share of the cost increases. The university, on average across all medical and dental benefits, pays approximately 90% of all costs.
Are you experiencing food insecurity? The Volunteer Resource Center will have a mobile food pantry Thursday, April 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. on the UMC South Terrace Plaza.
The pantry is free and open to CU Boulder students, faculty and staff as well as community members of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Drive-thru is not available at this mobile food pantry. If you’re driving to campus, limited parking will be available in the Euclid Parking Garage. A volunteer will be present at the entrance of the Euclid Parking Garage to provide additional information.
Remember to bring your Buff OneCard and bags to carry your items. If you’re not feeling well, send someone else to pick up food for you. Visit the Events Calendar for more details.
Colorado football is around the corner. Be sure to secure your seat for all six home games at Folsom Field in 2022.
CU faculty and staff with a 50% or greater appointment are eligible to purchase up to two tickets at a 20% discount on the season ticket cost. Employee ID number is required for verification.
The Office of Pre-Health Advising (OPHA) in the College of Arts and Sciences is now open for all undergraduate students and recent alumni, regardless of major, college or program.
The staff and pre-health advisors in the Office of Pre-Health Advising are passionate about helping CU Boulder pre-health students—whether that be exploring various health professions, discovering experiences to build their understanding of their future health career or helping students strategize and plan their future application process to a health professions school.
Every April, the National Sexual Violence Resource Center coordinates the national Sexual Assault Awareness Month campaign for the month of April to educate and engage the public in addressing this widespread issue.
This year, Residence Hall Association, Residence Life, Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance, Center for Inclusion and Social Change, CU Boulder Student Government and Office of Victim Assistance are collaborating to offer events and resources to the CU community. See what's coming up.
Health Promotion invites you to participate in a focus group regarding what you wish you would have known about drinking or partying before coming to college. In 30 minutes, participants will watch a short video, have the opportunity to discuss and share thoughts, and complete a brief survey. All participants will earn Campus Cash.

Since the vast majority of faculty and staff have easy access to a departmentally supported printer or multifunction device (printing, scanning and faxing in one), we’re challenging everyone to give up their personal printers, print less, and make the switch to efficient printers this Earth Day.
The University Libraries are moving to a new search interface that will be noticeable to library users. A beta version of this new search function will be available in late April.
