Interested in joining the Ralphie handler team?

Applicants are required to:

  • Be full-time CU Boulder students (undergraduate and graduate)
  • Have a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Have at least one fall semester remaining prior to graduation

Students selected to be a Ralphie handler will be required to complete a medical physical, driving tests, background checks, and dedicate approximately 30 hours a week to the Ralphie Program. Mandatory participation is not limited to times when school is in session. We need you to keep the best tradition in college sports alive!

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by exploring resources from the libraries

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated Sept. 15–Oct. 15, commemorating the achievements, contributions and heritage of Hispanic and Latino Americans with roots in Latin American countries. Additionally, these dates mark the anniversaries of independence for several Latin American countries.

Wait to upgrade to macOS 14 Sonoma

This week, Apple released its newest operating system, macOS 14 Sonoma. Because of several incompatibilities with a number of widely used applications at CU Boulder, OIT recommends waiting to upgrade Apple devices to macOS 14 until key issues are addressed.

Join paid study exploring human-AI cooperation

The Perception Laboratory is recruiting participants for a research study aimed at better understanding human-AI cooperation. This research uses human eye-tracking signals to inform the development of hierarchical reinforcement learning (HRL) agents for human-agent collaboration. The goal of this research is to understand how to produce agents that can effectively work with a wide range of humans that vary in expertise, preference and adaptability.

Participants will play the game Overcooked on a desktop computer while eye-tracking and keyboard input are collected, as well as fill out a series of questionnaires. 

To be eligible to participate, you must be between the ages of 18 to 65 years and have normal vision (20/40 or better) without correction from eyeglasses or contact lenses. Contact lenses and eyeglasses should not be worn during the study.

Your participation in this study will require approximately 90 minutes of your time and can be scheduled at your convenience. The study will take place in ECST 322, Engineering Center at CU Boulder.

Expect traffic, Buff Bus delays on Regent Drive

Campus construction on Regent Drive near the Coors Events Center may cause delays to Buff Buses and other traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., between Sept. 25 and Nov. 3. Regent Drive will be reduced to one lane during this time, and flaggers will be directing traffic. Please plan accordingly, as you may need to leave early to arrive on time.

Starting Oct. 1, Adobe Express will no longer be included with Creative Cloud Shared Device Access for Higher Education. Those who access Adobe Express through this method should save their projects to another account before Oct. 1.

CU NightRide is hiring driver/dispatchers to take calls, coordinate rides and drive within the city of Boulder. We’re looking for students who are confident and safe behind the wheel, friendly, courteous, non-judgmental, caring and skilled at multitasking.

ICYMI: Building access hours changing, effective Sept. 24

As a reminder, building access hours are changing starting Sunday, Sept. 24. Most academic buildings with scheduled classes will be open and unlocked between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, to allow non-affiliates access to scheduled events and other activities.

CU affiliates needing special access to a specific building are asked to contact their building proctors, C-CURE operators or department chairs to request the authorization/access needed on their Buff OneCards.
