CU@Lunch Award Recipients
This award provides an opportunity for students to show their appreciation to a staff member or instructor (professor, TA, advisor, mentor) who has had a positive influence on their time at CU. Either graduate or undergraduate students may nominate someone for this award, which involves writing a brief essay describing what the person you are nominating has done to make CU a welcoming place to be. If you know others who should receive this recognition, click here to nominate them.
Ron Billingsley and Janelle Knox
Ron Billingsley, associate professor in the Honors Program, and Janelle Knox, senior, are honorees of the Building Community CU@Lunch award. Ron was cited for helping Janelle find a sense of community and for his desire to maximize the education and potential of every student he works with.

Ray Macfee, senior Business instructor, and Lisa Brownstein, senior, were the first recipients of the Building Community "CU@Lunch" award, which provides an opportunity for students to invite a faculty/staff member to lunch as a way of expressing appreciation for support. Ray was cited for improving the sense of community within the business department by his devotion and sense of caring and respect for students.
