Buff Bikes Rental Program

For Students

Buff Bikes are single speed cruiser bikes with coaster brakes, designed for simplicity and durability.  Each rental comes with a U-Lock, optional helmet and light. Bicycle rentals are free for faculty, staff and fees-paid students*.

Buff Bikes are rented at the Bicycle Station for up to two days. Late fees are $10 per day up to 7 days†.

* Students must show valid Buff OneCard with RTD sticker. Faculty and staff must show valid Buff OneCard. Guest, temporary or other university ID cards require prior approval for eligibility. Contact bicycle@colorado.edu for more information.

† Rentals late after 7 days are reported to the CU Police and are subject to collection.
