Lost and Found
Each building on campus has a lost and found. The lost and found is either maintained or organized by the building proctor. Contact the building proctor if you have found or are looking for lost property.
USPS mailboxes can be found all around campus. Stamps are available in the UMC in both the Ink Spot Copy Center and the CU Book Store. The zip code for campus residence halls is 80310 plus a separate four-digit extension for each hall. Make sure your address is correct. Changing your address with the registrar’s office ensures you will receive important information from the university. Museums, Galleries, and Venues on Campus
CU-Boulder is fortunate to offer a variety of museums, galleries, and other on-campus attractions. The CU Art Museum, in the state-of-the-art Visual Arts Complex at the heart of campus, organizes year-round exhibitions of major national and international art in addition to showing work by regional artists and students. Visit the UMC Art Gallery to see contemporary exhibits by CU-Boulder graduate students.
MyCUInfo
MyCUinfo, CU-Boulder’s secure web portal, is your personal gateway to most of the online services that you need as a CU-Boulder student. Within MyCUinfo you will find everything from registration, to financial aid and billing, to news and announcements. MyCUinfo.colorado.edu.
Off-Campus Student Services
This office supports the 22,000 students who live off campus. It maintains contact information for several apartment complexes and property management companies in the area. Students can use Ralphie’s List, CU’s rental database, to search hundreds of available units, find roommates, and post sublets. Ombuds Office
Students visit the Ombuds Office in C4C for a variety of reasons. Issues range from conflicts with roommates, to feelings of being treated unfairly by a professor or administrative office. We help students identify options for their CU-related problem or conflict, in confidence and at no cost. Parking on Campus
If you plan to park frequently on campus, consider buying a parking permit. A lot will be assigned according to your living arrangement. Permits must be purchased online or in person at Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) and a pick-up location is announced for each semester. Campus parking meters are intended for short-term use. Maps of campus lots may be picked up at PTS or viewed on their website. PTS offers many options for university vehicles, the Buff Bus shuttle, the faculty/staff Eco Pass, and car share programs.
Parties
As a CU-Boulder student, you are part of the university and Boulder communities. Because of this, you have a responsibility to celebrate your accomplishments in a way that keeps your communities safe. Be safe, be successful, be a smart partier. Patents
Per the Policy on Discovery and Patents, the university owns student discoveries or patents perfected using university facilities as a condition of the student’s education. Recycling
CU-Boulder is home to one of the oldest and largest recycling programs in the nation. Look for recycling containers in and around every campus building where you can recycle co-mingled containers, office paper, newspapers and their inserts, magazines, catalogs and phonebooks, and corrugated cardboard.
