Student Affairs

The Division of Student Affairs’ primary focus is to create a positive learning environment that fosters successful educational and personal development of all students, both in and outside of the traditional classroom. Student learning and success is enhanced when the academic environment and community support students’ full development as individuals—not just as isolated intellects—and when students are seen as important partners in the learning experience. For a complete listing of services offered, visit the student affairs website.

Student Identification

The Buff OneCard is your official CU-Boulder student ID to be used for your entire career at CU-Boulder. The card is required as official verification of eligibility for many student privileges, including access to residence hall buildings, the Student Recreation Center, all campus libraries, Wardenburg Health Center, dining halls, tickets for athletics events, free use of RTD buses, and more. If you lose your card or believe it has been stolen call 303-492-1212 immediately to have the card deactivated. This prevents others from using it.

Student Information System (ISIS)

ISIS is a computerized data system that contains information on student admission, registration, financial aid, and academic records at CU-Boulder. The MyCUinfo student web portal is a component of ISIS.

Withdrawing

At times, being a student is an overwhelming experience. Classes, work, studying, and relationships take their toll on your energy and on your desire to see things through. If this happens to you, there are resources on campus to help you make a reasonable decision and consider your options. Academic advisors are trained not only to think about your academic program, but they can suggest other resources for help as well.
