The ATLAS exhibition lobby
includes a video wall that displays
the creative works from
the entire campus, including
students and faculty.
The wall also can display live
events from throughout CU,
including sporting events, the
World Affairs Conference,
productions from the experimental Black Box
theater within the
ATLAS building, and live news
coverage from the School of
Journalism and Mass Communication.
The wall is composed of nine
individual video screens, each
measuring 50 inches diagonally.
Different videos can be
displayed on each screen, or
one image can be displayed
across all of the screens.
Examples of the programming
include:
• Student projects from the ATLAS Technology, Arts and Media
courses and other ATLAS programs
• Film Studies student projects
• Faculty work from Film Studies
• Performances from Theatre & Dance
• Sample performances for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival
• Documentaries from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication
• Animations from Fiske Planetarium
• CU athletics overviews of football, basketball, volleyball and other
sports
• Profiles of CU astronauts
• Other works related to the sciences, campus research, and general
information about the university.
