The Secret Garden includes a cast

30 students who were selected from among
500 auditioners
from 19 different schools.
Below, see part of their rehearsal.
David Ayres and Angela Gaylor (above), co-directors and producers of "The
Secret Garden," founded Broadway in Boulder (a part of the Parlando School
of the Arts located in the Dairy Center) after an illustrious career on Broadway.
They are sitting with Tony Award winning musical director, Kevin Stites,
who directs a group of students below.
Thomas Kail (below, right), Tony Award winning director of the Broadway
hit, In the Heights, shared his expertise with cast members, the CU performing
arts community and the public during the ATLAS Director's Lab series.
For four weeks, four accomplished performing arts professionals from the
Broadway theater community plus Cirque du Soleil led workshops
in the ATLAS Black Box Studio.
