Technology, Arts & Media Minor Application

The Minor in Technology, Arts and Media (MTAM) provides a broad multidisciplinary perspective that integrates technological skills with a critical, theoretical, and historical understanding of technology, media and the arts. Student applications for MTAM should be submitted during or after ATLS-3010 Digital Media 1 and before ATLS-3020 Digital Media 2. Students who are not accepted into MTAM can still choose to pursue the Certificate in Digital Media (CDM).

• Students are accepted into the TAM Minor program based on evidence of academic accomplishment, technical adeptness and curiosity, and creative achievement.
• Acceptance to the TAM Minor is contingent upon the successful completion of ATLS2000, The Meaning of Information Technology and ATLS3010, Digital Media 1 (C or better).
• It is strongly recommended that student apply during ATLS3010, Digital Media 1. • The application deadline is October 15th for Spring admittance and March 15th for Fall admittance.
• Applicants will be notified of acceptance status via E-mail prior to the TAM Open House to allow for registration the following semester.
• Incomplete applications will not be considered.
