A generous gift from the family of the late Bill Pryde enabled the construction of the William Jack Pryde Teaching Laboratory, which was dedicated on Oct. 28, 2011.
The lab, located in Room 104, can accommodate 30 students; laptop computers are provided at every seat; and the room features high-definition projectors.
Pryde was a 1963 mathematics graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and a retired IBM employee who had a lifelong interest in the arts, music, mathematics and creative thinking. He passed
away in August 2010.
