
ATLAS' open house on Oct. 13, 2006, to celebrate the opening of the new ATLAS building, included experimental and interdisciplinary dance and music performances in the Black Box, a series of panel discussions, programs from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and presentations by ATLAS Technology, Arts and Media (TAM) students.
Panels in the main auditorium included "Technology and Education," "Diversity and Technology," and "Reflections on Architecture and the ATLAS Building."
A Native American blessing ceremony for the building also was part of the day' activities, and the Film Studies program presented a panel and premiere of the film "Quattro Noza."
