During the academic year (spring and fall), the ATLAS building is open to the public from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. weekdays and during special events.
Students taking classes have access until 11 p.m. Monday-Thursday, until 8 p.m. on Fridays, and from 2-6 p.m. Saturdays and 3-11 p.m. Sundays.
Students currently taking classes in the ATLAS building can access labs and group design rooms after hours with the approval of their instructor.
During the summer, the building is open to the public and students taking courses from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. weekdays. Students taking classes can access the building after hours until 8 p.m. weekdays and from 2-6 p.m. Saturdays and 3-8 p.m. Sundays with instructor approval.
Students who currently are not taking a class in the building, or need assistance, can seek permisson for after-hours access by speaking to the receptionist in ATLAS 223 or by calling 303-735-4577 or e-mailing cuatlas@colorado.edu.
Group design rooms, which are located throughout ATLAS and feature whiteboards and high-tech LCD panels, are available for studying or collaborative work. Sign-up sheets are on each door.
