ATLAS Speaker Series: Mystery, music and digital innovation

Nicolas Jaar is an electronic musician, record label founder and an international multi-media performing artist. Jaar will talk about his work and creative process. He will also be joined in a Q&A discussion by record label colleagues and Colorado-based emerging music producers.

Jaar is founder of his own record label, Clown & Sunset, and released his debut album, Space Is Only Noise in 2011. He has given performances around the world, including a 5-hour acclaimed improvisation at MoMA. He will perform his work as part of the Communikey Festival of Electronic Arts (CMKY), http://cmky.org/festival2013.

The talk is a collaboration with the ATLAS Speaker Series and Communikey, a local organization that produces, supports and celebrates music/sound and visual electronic arts.

The ATLAS Speaker Series is made possible by a generous donation by Idit Harel Caperton and Anat Harel. See upcoming ATLAS events, http://www.colorado.edu/atlas/newatlas/events.
