Building Hours, Study and Design Rooms

The ATLAS Building generally is open from 7 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. weekdays during the semester.

After hours access is available to approved students. Once access is granted, those students may utilize these rooms beyond building hours until 11 p.m. Monday-Thursday, from 2-6 p.m. Saturdays, and from 3-11 p.m. on Sundays.

Group Design Rooms in the ATLAS building are available for students to use for two (2) hours at a time. Sign-up is on a first come first-served basis, on site (signup sheets are on each group design room door, locations listed below).

How do I get in after hours?
If you are a student currently taking a class in the ATLAS building, ask your instructor to sponsor you for after hours access (regular building hours are 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday - Friday. If your instructor does not have a copy of the CCURE form, see the receptionist in ATLAS 223. If you are not currently taking a class in the ATLAS building, you may petition for after hours access by speaking to the receptionist in ATLAS 223 (303-735-4577 or cuatlas-at-colorado.edu).

Where are the rooms?
There are eight Group Design Rooms in the ATLAS building:
Basement Level, 1B21, 1B23 (floor plan); First Floor, 109 (floor plan); Second Floor, 226, 228 (floor plan); Third Floor, 332, 324, 326 (floor plan).

What's in the facilities?
• Desk space and chairs
• Dry erase board -- bring your own marker!
• LCD panels -- VGA cables are provided (Mac users bring your own DV1 adapter)
• And, wireless throughout the building
