Pre-conference Highlights - Tuesday The pre-conference on Tuesday, November 11, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., offers two tracks, a hands-on session or a lecture-only workshop, all on the CU-Boulder Campus. Lecture: Transforming the 508 Experience in to an On-Campus Reality, presented by Doug Wakefield of the U.S. Access Board and author of the 508 Access Board Guidelines. Lab: Improving Access to Windows Using Macro Software by Alan Cantor of Cantor + Associates Inc. Topics covered include the five kinds of tasks that can be performed easier and faster using macro software and several macro software packages that run under Microsoft Windows; scripting four different kinds of Macro Express macros; using Word features such as a set of 1000 built-in commands, the macro recorder, and AutoCorrect to create macros and macro-like features.
