If you need help scheduling for classes related to the Quantitative Finance side of the program, there is a scheduling guide available to assist you. This scheduling guide outlines the program's required courses, recommended courses, and sample schedules. Actuarial Studies should contact an advisor.

Our faculty are available for advice and information to both students and employers.

Students should consult with a faculty member listed below in conjunction with their normal advisor for scheduling issues. In short, our program advisors know little about degree requirements, and the degree advisors know little about our program requirements.

The course requirements for our program oftentimes go beyond the scope of courses required for students' actual degrees. In that case, students should opt out of normally required courses because they will later be covering the same material at a much deeper level (for example, if you are a finance student, you do not need to take BCOR 1020 because you will be taking APPM 4520 instead). You should always check with a Actuarial Studies & Quantitative Finance advisor to ensure you don't enroll in courses you don't need to.
