Total hours for the minor 23-29

The College of Arts and Sciences will allow a maximum of 9 hours of transfer credit, including 6 upper-division credit hours, to count towards a minor.

These minor programs each require six semesters of CHEM courses. (Students may transfer in through organic chemistry only.) All required courses must be complete with grade of C- or better, and the overall GPA in all CHEM courses taken must be 2.0 or higher.

Students who have taken CHEM 1211 and CHEM 1221 may substitute them for CHEM 1111 in the minor requirements. Engineering students who have taken CHEM 4521 may use this course to satisfy the physical chemistry 1 requirement for both minors.
