Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Trangendered Studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder
As an academic discipline,
LGBT studies examines the history of queerness,
the politics of sexual oppression, and empowerment, the relationship of sexual identity
(for example racial, national, and ethnic), the representation of sexualities in music, literature, art, and the meaning of queerness in individual identity and the examined life.
