Norlin LibraryCU-Boulder offers students a wide variety of opportunities to participate in programs outside of the regular classroom. Students are encouraged to take advantage of these programs to enhance their educational experience at the university.

 

 

 

Programs of Special Interest

Honors Program: The Honors Program offers thoughtful advising, close contact with faculty and with other honors students, an opportunity to write an honors thesis and the ability to graduate with honors.

Miramontes Arts and Sciences Program: MASP supports students from traditionally underrepresented groups and those who are first-generation college students through mentoring, advising, scholarships, instruction and community activities.

Norlin Scholars: Norlin Scholars is an interdisciplinary intellectual community in which students receive an education personally tailored to fit their interests and goals in any of CU-Boulder's undergraduate colleges or schools.

Undergraduate Research Opportunities: UROP provides consultation services, informational workshops, and grants to promote undergraduate research as a high-impact learning practice for student success.

Residential Academic Programs (RAPs)

In RAPs, students live together in the same residence hall, share academic experiences by participating in seminar classes taught in the residence halls, have access to faculty offices within the residence halls and engage in residence hall activities that reinforce the academic theme. The program is coordinated by a faculty director and is generally focused on first-year students.
