J.P. Park specializes in early modern Chinese print culture with a focus on the genre of painting manuals. His other research interests cover a wide range of topics in art and history, including-but not limited to-late imperical Chinese visual and material cultures, Korean arts, contemporary East Asian art, and the issue of nationalism in art history.
