Our Military Science Department invites you to enroll in our exciting program and be a part of our proud ROTC tradition that dates back to 1918. Our program focuses on attracting top quality Scholar-Athlete-Leaders from here on campus as well as from high schools, partnership, and affiliate colleges. We assist students in becoming the future leaders of the United States Army by developing their leadership abilities and instilling responsibility, integrity, and a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Newsletters and video

This 2014-2015 school year, the Golden Buffalo Battalion underwent an exciting transformation in a series of new and unconventional training events. Two semester newsletters, created by a hardworking staff of cadets, provide a snapshot of the battalion's highlights throughout the year. The Fall 2014 newsletter was written and edited by Cadets Christian Burns, Adam Lee, John Mason, Devon Viart, Emily Wu, and Aaron Albin. The Spring 2015 newsletter was written and edited by Cadets Adam Lee, Emily Brocklander, Adam Kaelin, Emily Wu, and Javier Jerez.

Notice: Room with another ROTC CU-Boulder student. University of Colorado Boulder ROTC Cadet Housing Program

The University of Colorado Boulder (CU-Boulder), Housing, and ROTC departments are partnering to provide CU-Boulder students enrolled/involved in the Army, Air Force, and Navy/Marine Corp ROTC programs with the ability to room with another ROTC student in the Residence Halls on the CU-Boulder campus. The purpose of this program is to make living in the Residence Halls more convenient, inclusive, and comfortable for Resident Cadets.

Interested? It's easy to sign up. When filling out the required CU-Boulder Residence Hall application, simply answer "yes" to the question in the questionnaire section regarding ROTC Cadets!! Be advised that requests to be housed with an ROTC roommate will be on a space available basis depending on when the request is made.
