Welcome Back

Welcome Alumni and Friends of the Anthropology Department!

Thanks so much for visiting our website. We have over 3000 alumni who have graduated in the Anthropology program and many more friends. We appreciate your interest in our programs and events and hope that you feel free to participate in many of them. You can follow our news and events, course offerings, faculty websites and our newly developed dynamic section centered on Anthropology Graduate study. Just click on our links to start the search.

Within the news and events section, you might want to browse our department calendar, check out our lecturers and speakers, alumni newsletters and maybe even venture back into our department news archive. You may learn something interesting you wouldn’t have dreamed really happened!

To browse our current news, be sure to visit department news, for a current listing of what's happening in the department.

We would also like to mention that there is a very active alumni association here at CU-Boulder. If you would like to join up, or find out more information, please visit www.cualum.org.

We continue to be very grateful for all of your financial support. Graduate student support is our number one priority, and your contributions make their research possible. Be sure to check out our Graduate Student Profiles while you’re here to see the range of their interests and contributions to the field of Anthropology.  If you would like to discuss giving options with the Department Chair, Bert Covert can be reached at 303-492-2547 or Herbert.Covert@colorado.edu.

We would definitely love to hear from you. Please let us know what you’re doing and how your life has been impacted by your studies here in the department. If you would like to share your experiences with others, consider a spot as a guest speaker for our Anthropology Club. The Club is comprised of undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in the field. Please contact them if you're interested in arranging an informal talk. Also, feel free to come back and visit and we’ll try to fit in a tour of our refurbished historic Hale building.  Some great photos of Hale are on our website under About Us. Check it out! To let us know what and how you’re doing, feel free to contact us at anthro@colorado.edu. We’re still here, still working, and still dedicated to expanding our knowledge of the mesmerizing world of Anthropology.
