Four ALC students have been selected by the The Critical Language Scholarship Program to study abroad this summer. The CLS program is an extremely competitive national scholarship with the goal of broadening the base of Americans studying and mastering critical languages and building relationships between the people of the United States and other countries. - Priscilla Dao, a Chemical & Biological Engineering major and Chinese minor, will be studying Chinese in Suzhou, China.
- Keyle Horton, an Environmental Studies major, will be studying Urdu in Lucknow, India.
- Chloe Pradeau, a Computer Science and Mathematics double major, will be studying Korean in Gwangju, South Korea.
- Isaac Wang, a Japanese PhD student, will be studying Japanese in Hikone, Japan.
