An evening filled with informative presentations, laughter, and delicious food, Persian Cultural Night was hosted on April 19th by the Department of Asian Languages & Civilizations and International Student & Scholar Services. It was organized and led by ALC Instructor of Farsi, Reza Farokhfal, and students from all levels of Farsi language presented their work, which ranged from musical performances to poetry and skits. Audience members included students from Mr. Farokhfal’s courses and also community members, totaling around 70 people. Just some of the delicacies arranged for the audience were Persian tea and a special noodle dish, Ash-e Reshteh. Persian Cultural Night was again a great event this year that showcased student talent as well as widespread interest and enthusiasm in Persian language and culture on campus and in the Boulder community!
