Applying

  • We are no longer accepting applications for spring 2010.
    International applicants: We are accepting fall 2010 applications. The international application deadline for fall 2010 is December 1st. Transcripts go directly to the Office of Admissions. Do NOT send them to the department.
    Domestic applicants: We are accepting fall 2010 applications The domestic application deadline for fall 2010 is February 1st. If you are a PhD applicant interested in funding, submit your application as early as possible

    Late applications are not accepted and the application fee is non-refundable.
  • All application materials MUST be received by the application deadline. Application materials include: application, application fee, statement of purpose, two official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended (including courses taken for college credit during high school and study abroad), official GRE scores (general test), 4 letters of recommendation, and TOEFL scores, if applicable.
  • Domestic students (U.S. citizens and Permanent Resident Aliens/Green Card holders): Supplementary materials should be sent directly to the department at University of Colorado, Aerospace Engineering Sciences, 429 UCB, Boulder, CO 80309
  • International Students: Official transcripts, TOEFL scores, and financial documents should be sent to the University of Colorado, Office of Admissions, 65 UCB, Boulder, CO 80309. They do not come directly to the department. All other supplementary materials should be mailed to the department, University of Colorado, Aerospace Engineering Sciences, 429 UCB, Boulder, CO 80309. The preferred method for submission of letters of recommendation is on-line through the ApplyYourself application software.
  • CAETE Students: Note: At this time, the MS degree is not available through CAETE for the following focus area:
    -Vehicle Systems, including Aerodynamics, Systems and Control
  • The institution code for the University of Colorado is 4841; the department code for Aerospace Engineering is 1601.
