Undergraduate StudentsHands-on curriculum. The department’s ABET-accredited undergraduate curriculum includes basic engineering principles (statics, dynamics, fluids, structures, systems, and controls. Students have the opportunity to develop in-depth technical knowledge, effective communication skills, and a systems engineering perspective that enables them to produce creative solutions to complex problems. Aerospace students may satisfy their technical and/or design elective requirements with coursework outside the department (computer science, electrical, applied mathematics, mechanical, physics, chemical). As a result, our students can compete equally in the job market with engineers from other disciplines. Coursework in the various areas of concentration can satisfy technical and/or design elective requirements. Students receive excellent opportunities in independent study and undergraduate research to complement their core curriculum. Undergraduate Program Overview ASEN Courses & Course Schedules |
