Professor Penny Axelrad was a keynote speaker at the GNSS Futures in the Asia-Pacific Region Workshop at UNSW Australia, July 8, 2014.  Her talk provided an overview of remote sensing applications of GNSS including terrestrial and ocean surface features, characteristics of the atmosphere and ionosphere;  highlighting the growing opportunities made possible by multiple GNSS constellations, modernized signals, worldwide ground station networks providing GNSS data online, and flexible measurement platforms on UAVs and small satellites.
