Ralphie's Group and Community Visits are campus visits for high school student groups, transfer students, sports organizations, or local community groups of eight or more people. The two hour program includes an information session hosted by a CU-Boulder admissions representative and a student-led campus tour.
Review the information below for more details and to request a visit program for your group.
While we always enjoy hosting student groups on campus, we do have a few considerations to be aware of as you make your reservation:
*If you have an elementary or middle school group you would like to bring to campus, please contact the SORCE program (Student Outreach Retention Center for Equity) at 303-492-1371. Transfer student groups are welcome from community colleges or other four-year institutions.
If your group is interested in eating lunch in the Center for Community, please send (email, fax, or mail) a tax exempt certificate to Taylor Stratton shortly after you register for a visit. With the tax exempt certificate, the cost will be .50 per person for a single meal card. If you do not have a tax exempt certificate, the price is .00 per person. Lunch transactions will be conducted before your Admissions Information Session.
If your group would like to enjoy lunch on campus a la carte, the University Memorial Center has various offerings for various meal preferences.

The next step is to submit a registration request for an available Ralphie's Visit. To register:
Please do not register for more than one date unless you are planning multiple group visits.
Note that submitting a registration request does not guarantee availability. Please submit your request at least 3 weeks prior to your intended visit for groups of less than 65, and at least 6 weeks in advance for groups of 65 or more. You will receive a response within 5 business days.
Please plan to arrive on campus at the University Memorial Center (UMC) between 9:20 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Give yourself adequate time to orient yourself with campus. The admissions information session begins promptly at 9:45 a.m.; arrival after 9:55 a.m., without adequate notification, is subject to cancellation of your campus tour and information session.

The University of Colorado Boulder is located in Boulder, Colorado - 30 miles northwest of Denver and 45 miles northwest of the Airport (Denver International Airport). The Boulder area offers a wide array of activities ranging from hiking and biking to shopping, amazing dining, and entertainment. We hope you are able to explore the community of Boulder while you are visiting campus. If you are interested in on-campus life, we encourage you to view the University of Colorado Boulder’s calendar of events or other local Boulder attractions for activities after your visit on campus.
After your visit, we encourage the group coordinator to submit an admission counselor evaluation form to help us improve our program.
If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact the Ralphie’s Visit Coordinator, Taylor Stratton, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303-492-1223.
If you cancel or wish to reschedule a group visit, you must notify us 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling a visit requires submitting a new registeration request (see "Request a Ralphie's Visit" section). We cannot guarantee that your new visit date will be in the same semester due to potential scheduling conflicts. Please note that a reservation request does not guarantee availability.
