Admissions Daily Information Sessions and Campus Tours
Daily Information Sessions and Campus Tours will not be held from May 12 - June 3. Daily sessions will resume on Monday, June 3. Saturday sessions are not held during the summer and will resume on Saturday, August 10.
Information sessions and campus tours provide a great overview of CU-Boulder and the Buffalo community. Information sessions and campus tours include a one hour information presentation led by an admissions representative, followed by a 90 minute, student-led walking tour of campus.
Information sessions and campus tours are held Monday through Friday beginning at 9:30 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m. and select Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. Information sessions and campus tours are free to all guests and designed to help answer questions about the undergraduate experience at CU-Boulder.
Planning your Visit
As you plan your visit, we also encourage you to view CU-Boulder’s calendar of events and our visit announcements page. CU-Boulder's campus can be very busy; we host a number of athletic events, performing arts programs, concerts, and more.
- To register for an event, students must log in to their MyCUBoulder account. After you have logged in, click the ‘Visit CU’ tab, then click on ‘Register for an Event’
- If you have not created a MyCUBoulder account, click here to get started.
- Family members should call the Office of Admissions at 303-492-6301 for assistance with scheduling a visit.
Following registration, an e-mail confirmation will be sent to the student’s e-mail address with more information about where to park, location of the session, and directions. You may also download a copy of your visit guide.
Please note: There is currently construction on Broadway Street, which may cause delays. We recommend avoiding it or finding alternative routes. After your information session and campus tour, if you have additional questions, please feel free to drop-by the Office of Admissions or Financial Aid. Both are located in the Regent Administrative Center. We also encourage you to explore campus. You may pick up a self-guided tour map at your information session or in the Office of Admissions.
In addition to the campus tour, you may want to check out the following:
- The Macky Auditorium Concert Hall
- The University of Colorado Museum of Natural History
- CU Art Museum
- Fiske Planetarium and Sommers-Bausch Observatory
As you plan your visit, we also encourage you to view CU-Boulder’s calendar of events. CU-Boulder's campus can be very busy; we host a number of athletic events, performing arts programs, concerts, and more.

These programs provide an opportunity to get an in-depth look at CU-Boulder through presentations by current faculty, staff, and students. We are unable to accommodate students who want to attend classes or stay in the residence halls overnight with current students.
If you are interested in bringing a group of students (eight or more) to campus, we would like to customize your group's experience. Please visit Ralphie's Group and Community Visits to find out how to make your reservation.
