This is My CU

My name is Grace, and I am a sophomore here at CU. I have lived my whole life in Tacoma, Washington where it rains all the time -- imagine my surprise at coming to a place where it is almost always sunny! As soon as I arrived on campus for my visit while in high school, I knew I had to come to CU. My favorite activities include skiing, hiking, camping playing just about any other sport, and my favorite of them all is rock climbing! I am a bit addicted to rock climbing you might say but hey, that's not entirely a bad thing.

Another one of my passions is food, and Boulder is the perfect place for that. There are tons of restaurants with creative, delicious, and healthy dishes. I can't wait to keep trying all the restaurants. I also love buying locally grown foods from the farmers market and thinking up my own concotions or trying someone else's recipes. I have always been a huge sports fan and have grown up on the Pac-10, which makes CU sports now being a part of the Pac-12 even more fun for me! Learning and service are two of my other passions, which is why I have chosen to study Spanish and Elementary Education. Hopefully you will learn a bit more about the life of a sophomore (life outside of the dorms, adjusting to cooking on my own, and other adventures).
