This is My CU

Hey everyone!

My name is Kathryn and I am currently a senior double majoring in journalism and communication. I am a native of Colorado born and raised in Longmont, which is 25 minutes outside of Boulder.

My favorite part about CU is the campus. Whether rain is falling or sun is shining, nothing beats the view of the Flatirons while walking to class. When I first officially toured campus I was nervous because of the size, but as soon as I figured out where the buildings were my first year, my nerves eased up. It seems big at first, but quickly becomes small once you get used to the area. I see at least two or three familiar faces walking to class each day. A big school becomes a small community very fast.

My hobbies include watching movies, attending/watching sporting events, cooking/baking, eating out with family/friends, hiking, running, reading and writing. Boulder has all the resources available to fulfill my interests. From local restaurants to hiking trails just up the road from campus, Boulder is truly a unique area.
